High school sweethearts get married today! It was a really fun and touching wedding. 12 years of marathon love story + a bunch of great friends + tight knit families. We enjoyed ourselves today. Managed to squeeze everything in, including the solemnization and even a story line in time for the dinner. I was particularly touched by their personalized vows, which was used in the SDE. All the best!!

Sean + Diana SDE

A challenging SDE, with less than 5hrs to do and we had to include the 5pm solemnization into the SDE. I like challenges, and we did it by 7pm!! It helped that Sean and Diana was really natural and fun to shoot. Hmm and I really liked the pool area heh heh.

Oh yes, did I mention this shoot was done with Canon Singapore’s blessings to try their yet to be released camera? Hmm yes we had backup cameras that day of course!

Derek + Yiwen SDE

I shot Derek’s sister’s wedding a few months ago and it was fun to shoot with them again. I have to say their love story is really out of a DRAMA. Hoteliers getting “forced” to act as a wedding couple for a hotel promotion when they didnt even knew each other? They went thru the entire photo taking to even a march pass process like a real wedding. So Sat nite was technically their second attempt, but this time its real. Kinda amazing rite?

Canon 7D Quick Review

I had the luck to land the only 7D in Singapore and took it out for 2 weddings. The video was very impromptu as it was done last minute. I hope the limited test footages could help some people who are making a decision on the 7D.

HWM CMR Blackbird Review

The CMR Blackbird has been with me for a month now and I have had only 3 attempts to fly it. I’ll say that I’m personally pleased with it. Its been tough to get going due to heavy work committment and as the last quarter approaches it gets worst. Will be out of action till later this month as I clear my backlogs. Anyway, big thanks to Stanley and Tiong Han for helping me to get this out of the bag!!!

Update:
There was some request to compare this with the Glidecam HD2000 and Steadicam Merlin. I have tried all 3 combos, but I’m too tied up to make another video on it. I’ll plug some details when I can and try to add it into the magazine.
